Young people are really drawn to these necklaces at the Eugene Saturday Market. They make great gifts and custom orders are accepted. Flowers are selected to complement the bead color. After ordering, I will send you a picture of the available necklaces, and you can pick out the one you want!
Necklaces are approximately 18 inches in length.
Made with handmade beads and hemp macramé which is naturally strong, yet soft and lightweight. Hemp can be a little stiff at first but after wearing it a couple of times, it will become super soft and comfy. You won’t even feel it on your neck! Our necklace with dried flowers comes with a mini, corked bottle filled with a mini arrangement of dried flowers.

I make my own beads out of polymer clay. I started making pottery in high school, in the late 80’s, and quickly realized that I loved hand building. I made many coil, slab and combo pieces that my family and I still have. For many years I didn’t make pottery, mainly because I was a single mom and didn’t have the time, but always missed it. Then while vending at a local market in 2010, I started using my town’s craft center to make pieces again, mainly mortars and pestles and vases. Some pieces also became homes for succulents! So, now that I live in the country and don’t have a kiln set up, I decided to start using polymer clay because I can make things at home. I love making little things and all the beautiful colors that are available!
